WIDCOMBE SOCIAL CLUB – ANNOUNCEMENT

We regret to announce that, in consideration of and concern for the safety of our members, hirers,
users, audiences, performers and staff, Widcombe Social Club will be closed from Wednesday 18th
March until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current medical and governmental
advice. We will review this situation on a regular basis and issue further announcements as and
when necessary.

We are contacting all members, hirers, users, contractors and also those artists who we have booked
for our own events by telephone or email to discuss their individual arrangements and issues of
postponement or cancellation.  We would ask that those who need such individual contact with us
understand that with a minimal staff and otherwise voluntary management it may take us some
time to make contact with everyone.

All organisers who have planned to use Widcombe Social Club for public or private events are being
informed of the closure and are asked to contact their own tickets buyers, attendees and invitees
and inform them of their own specific arrangements.

If you are a ticket buyer, attendee or invitee please contact the organiser of your event if necessary.
Whilst we anticipate that the COVID-19 crisis will last for some while, we will still be able to receive
and deal with enquiries and bookings for later in the year.

Widcombe Social Club sends its good wishes and concern for the safety, health and security of all
members and everyone connected with the club, hoping that you will observe all necessary
precautions and keep safe during this exceptional time.
