Bill Smarme, Marty Skiver, and Micky Slapabilly play a farrago of goodtime, old school rock'n'roll to get your feet tappin' and your hands jivin'.

Pete Watson, Roger Slade and Vicki Burke are the front line of legendary Bristol band, Flash Harry. They have been entertaining audiences for many years with their eclectic mix of musical styles, which take you on a rootsy mystery tour. Strange tales unfold of mice and men, hamsters and humans, love and lust and joy and debauchery. Masters of their craft, they put a smile on your face and a tap in your toes.
Friday 28th November Are Friends Acoustic
Are Friends Acoustic play (mostly) 80s synth-pop on a unique combination of viola, double bass and acoustic guitar. Expect Depeche Mode and the Human League from the trio as you have never heard them before; without drum machines or keyboards but with all the quality and fun of the music of the 80s.
DECEMBER
Friday 5th December Dubsouls
Dubsouls are a quartet playing a cool mix of rocksteady and jazz .
Old Rocksteady and reggae tunes with some originals played in a jazz format with
improvisation and strong melodic hooks.
Added to that is the amazing voice of Kim Oliver making the dubsouls something
not to be missed.
Guitarist Andrew ‘Murph’ Murphy formed the Dubsouls and has taken it through
various line ups
In 2020 the release of the debut album ‘Dubsouls in session’ was released on

An informal and relaxed Christmas singalong with the wonderful Sasspafellas. A great way to get in the festive mood in a warm and welcoming family-friendly atmosphere.
Come along and sing with us or simply just sit, enjoy and have a merry time.
Friday 19th December Blue Zebras
The Blue Zebras return to WSC for the last Friday session before Christmas. They bring their unique mix of up-tempo blues, R&B, and rock classics, interspersed with ballads, originals, and a few jazz standards. A few seasonal favourites are also likely, along with plenty of opportunities for dancing and audience participation.
The Blue Zebras feature Widcombe resident Stephen Wright on piano & vocals, Kearin Wright on drums & vocals, and Chris Fraser on guitar & vocals.

WSC will be closed for the Christmas holidays

However the Friday Waterside Nights will be back in full swing from 16th Jan
The Strays are a 5 piece covers band that specialises in Americana music, predominantly the country/folk/blues influenced music from the deep south.
Particularly attracted to the music of bands that are renowned for their 3 part vocal harmonies, so expect music from the likes of the Eagles and Creedence Clearwater Revival to feature in tonight's programme.

Dudlow Slim’s unique fusion of blues, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and New Orleans boogie has rocked the people of Bristol and Bath for nearly two decades now. Imagine if Dr. John, The Meters, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, and The Band, and Slash got together to make a record and you might be getting close…
Friday 30th January Fishpond Skaters
A local acoustic duo, Mike and Mansel singing songs in the Everly Brothers style mixing country, Americana and original songs with tasty instrumentals.

Performing a mixture of swing standards and ballads this intimate line-up featuring Kait Vox on vocals, accompanied by piano, acoustic bass and violin promises an evening of jazz classics, with sparkling solos and lyrical improvisation.

Friday 20th February Johnnie Melancholy and the Sad Cowboys
Jonnie Melancholy and the Sad Cowboys bring an infectious blend of country, blues and folk, mixing classics with forgotten gems, all brought together by a love of great songs.
They are a 6 piece band with rich harmonies, playing tunes they've collected over the years, songs they love, songs they hope you'll love too. From old ballads and love songs, to their own take on foot stomping bluegrass, aiming to share the joy of music and get the bar room singing along!

Four on Six are a ukulele & guitar duo playing a range of ragtime, jazz, American folk, Hawaiian, classical & pop classics.
