FRIDAY WATERSIDE NIGHTS
Join us on Friday evenings from 5:30PM for live music and freshly made pizza!
With various toppings including gluten free and vegan options on a delicious sourdough base! Read below for all our live performances taking place. All events are free entry & the bar remains open after the music.
Pizza served from 6:00PM until 8:30PM - Music from 7:00PM until 9:00pm
Alongside our over-the-bar Friday night Pizza service, you can now book a weekly-changing alternative for £10.50.
Ticket links will be published each week on the newsletter & website & need to be booked no later than 6pm the Thursday before.

AUGUST
We will be pausing our Friday Waterside Nights during August to enable us to undertake essential maintenance as well as giving our staff a well-earned break.
We will be back on Friday 4th September with The Free Spirits.

Friday 4th September The Free Spirits

Mike Morrisey's Free Spirits Band perform classic hits from the golden age of rock and roll. Their repertoire covers songs from UK and American artists primarily from the 50s and 60s, but they also perform one or two rock and roll songs from the 70s as well. Put on your dancing shoes and dance away your blues!

Tony Barby on ukulele and Dave Spencer on guitar comprise
the ‘Four on Six’ duo, featuring intricate instrumental music from many sources. There are jazz standards and Beatles songs, folk tunes, classical and ragtime pieces and several quirky oddities. On a good night Tony might even be persuaded to play his virtuoso tour-de-force – Bohemian Rhapsody on
solo ukulele! The two of them have worked together in a wide variety of projects over forty years and have developed a
great musical rapport.

Dudlow Joe’s unique fusion of blues, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and New Orleans boogie has rocked the people of Bristol and Bath for nearly two decades now. Imagine if Dr. John, The Meters, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, and The Band, and Slash got together to make a record and you might be getting close… After years of gigging and a few demos along the way we finally decided to get in the studio and make a “proper” record, so in September 2017 we co-opted our very talented producer friend Tosh and laid down 13 originals – some old, some new, some boogie, some blues.

Somewhere Over England, along with Tears For Fears and The Korgis emerged from the Bath local music scene of the 1980s - probably the greatest period for popular music in the city.
One of the most popular bands in Bath at the time, Somewhere Over England finally gained recognition and chart success in 1991 not in the UK but in Spain with their huge melodic summer epic ‘If I Ever Fail in Love‘ finally reaching the No 1 slot in September of that year and remaining one of the most iconic tracks from that unique era.
Quintessentially a band with an 80's sound and sensibility, the music has now matured to feature more instruments and a folk feel. Nowadays the band plays 'unplugged' giving greater emphasis to vocals, musicianship and storytelling. A perfect format for a fun night out.

A blues & soul musician based in Bath. Playing a combination of easy listening & bluesy originals, with some classic blues & soul tunes, peppered with a little funk & rock ‘n’ roll.
